No need to fret if you ever get caught in bad weather wearing your favorite suede shoes. Contrary to some belief, cleaning them is easy. Take a clean, damp cloth and gently work over the entire surface of the shoe. Allow the shoes to dry and then use your suede brush to revive them.
Magnetic gauges, also called moving iron gauges, have a pair of coils , one on each side of a pivoted iron armature that carries the needle. Sometimes the iron armature is weighted to hold the needle in the rest position; in other cases a light hairspring does this.
