Unfortunately, my driver's door lock is broken so I can't lock it with the key, and I can't use the alarm remote to lock the doors with the ignition key on. The lack of enough clearance slows the valves down. And when the valves are kept closed for a longer time, the heat will obviously build up. This additional amount of time that the valves take then ends up overheating the engine.
